Scott Ragan

Interim Director, The Science House

Professional Bio:

Scott has been with The Science House since 1996. In his current position he assists the director and staff with day-to-day operations and many of the administrative tasks of The Science House. He also assists with many of the teacher professional development services.  Scott has bachelor degrees from NCSU in Science Education and Environmental Engineering and a masters degree in Adult Education. He has a great deal of experience using technology in math and science education. During his tenure he has coordinated several successful NSF projects working with math and science teachers. Currently he is also the project director for a U.S. Department of Education Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP) that focuses on Modeling Instruction in the physical sciences.
