The MISO Project Team held a workshop for those who are actively involved in K12 STEM outreach activities or were interested in NC State STEM outreach programs, possibilities and evaluation.

This free, informative and collaborative expo and workshop was held on Monday, May 7th from 9am to 11am, in the Wachovia room at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, Centennial Campus, 1890 Main Campus Drive. This workshop was open to the NC State community, and was be led by MISO Project team members Tracey Collins, Eric Wiebe, Jeni Corn, and Latricia Townsend.

The goal of the expo and workshop was to:

  • showcase your K12 STEM Outreach Program
  • network with others and learn about their program; innovations and improvements, challenges, accomplishments and evaluation vision
  • hear from the MISO evaluation team about program evaluation capacity building and implementing an evaluation plan for your STEM program
